Parks & Public Spaces

With 17+ parks to enjoy, East Hill boasts outdoor recreational fun. Join a pick-up basketball game at one of six different courts, take your pups to the dog beach at Bayview Park, or come to enjoy the many walking trails, playgrounds, and historical monuments scattered across the neighborhood. Here's we've highlighted our favorite features of these beautiful parks.

Andalusia Square
1500 East Gadsden St.
Enjoy the walking path, playground, and gazebo, with quick access to Cervantes Street.

Bayview Park 
2001 E. Lloyd Street 
This regional park has it all, from tennis and workout equipment to kayak access and a dog beach.

Catalonia Square
2300 N. 12th Avenue
Come out to watch some baseball, play on the playground, or simply walk around the block.

Cordova Square
1101 N. 12th Avenue
This park features a new playground with gazebo and picnic area, great for a day with the family. 

Estramadura Square
1500 E. Lakeview Avenue
A beautiful playground with swings, picnic area, and walking path can all be found at this park.

Granada Square

1001 E. Cervantes Street
With a playground, swings, walking path, and benches, what more do you need?

Granada Subdivision Park
103 Pineda Avenue
This little park is tucked behind some houses and is a true hidden gem.

H.K. Matthews Park
3100 N. 12th Avenue
This park features a basketball court, playground, walking path and more, with dedicated parking.

Lamancha Square
1400 E. Cross Street
A well-landscaped area with playground, benches and walking path awaits you here.



Lions Park
1201 E. LaRua Street

The main event here is the baseball field, where you'll often see the Kaboom kickball league in play.

Malaga Square
1000 E. Blount Street
Enjoy the playground and swings or shoot some hoops at the basketball court. There's also a walking path here.

Miraflores Park
1601 E. LaRua Street
Come for the walking path and playground, stay for the medieval cosplay. You'll know when you see it.

Operto Square
1600 E. Blount Street
Shoot some hoops at the basketball court, enjoy the playground, or get in some steps on the walking path.

Reverend A.L. Durant Park
Barcia Dr. & 9th Avenue
Tucked behind some homes on Barcia Dr. is a hidden gem of playground equipment with a slide.

Semmes Park
1380 E. Texar Drive
Adjacent to OJ Semmes Elementary School is a beautiful new playground with slides and a rock wall.


Toledo Square
1700 E. Gonzalez Street
Toledo, a new playground with lots to explore, along with walking trails and a covered shelter & picnic area.

Zamora Square
1800 E. Bobe Street
This park has it all, including baseball field, basketball court, playground with swings, and walking trail.
