Big Screen on the Bayou

Bringing East Hill together with a free outdoor movie series

In the Fall of 2022, the East Hill Neighborhood Association began the Big Screen on the Bayou, a free outdoor movie series.  Shown on a giant inflatable screen, residents are invited to bring a chair and blanket and sit on the lawn at Bayview Park near the Community Center. Bayou Texar makes for a great backdrop while enjoying a movie with your family and friends. In partnership with generous business sponsors, the Association offers four movie nights per year (two in the spring and two in the fall), with movies ranging from the latest new releases to your favorite old school classics.
